What a sweet, sweet story this was for me. Katie is a lawyer from San Francisco who has to go back home for her best friend's wedding. Unfortunately, Katie gets tons of panic attacks and she gets them often. She hasn't been home in 10 years and when she does go back the ever present attacks come on like a tidal wave, especially when one Jason Sloan is near by. 

Jason Sloan has loved Katie since they were 5, but events lead him to not share those feelings for her, until now. Katie is back after 10 long years and he is not going to skip this opportunity to let her know how he feels.

This book was incredibly well written, with flashes from the past that let the reader know what events happened and what led to the current situation these two find themselves in. There are twists and turns, and the authors lead you through them exquisitely. When you think it's one thing, its another. It was incredibly witty, and charming. Once I got reading it, I didn't want to put it down.

What to say about this book.. Hmm.. If you have read any of Cole's books, you know that he writes fantastically twisted and off the wall kind of books. That's why I love them. This one took me a bit by surprise. In the beginning, I thought it was going to be a mundane kind of book, with a little ghost inside the house haunting Kate (the heroine). What I got was not the typical ghost haunting read. LOL! I don't even think it was a ghost... I am STILL wondering what the heck it was. But in very Cole fashion he leads the reader into a very twisted tale of eroticism and kinkery (is that even a word? Well it is for now). Cole kept you on your toes, and you didn't know which way was up, down, sideways, sleeping or not. I was pleasantly surprised with it. Even though, I did want to know more about the "house guest" that visits Kate at night. Great short read!

What he doesn't know is that Zoe, with the help from her BFF Dara, turn the tables on him. I can not put what happens into this review because it will spoil it for everyone. Just know it's the unexpected and rather deliciously naughty. I absolutely loved every single minute of it! Great job Marata, I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I received this book by a friend - Thanks Ashley! - who recommended it. I am not too crazy about westerns, and was hesitant to read it. I was assured I would like it very much by my friend and the author did a great job selling me on it. :) This is Aden's debut novel.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually enjoyed it. Kate was in an accident when she was a baby and had multiple surgeries to try and correct what was wrong. At a certain point, she stopped and by then, she felt like she was "broken" and like no man would "want" her. I thought she was a tough as nails gal and really appreciated her tenacity. I also loved her vulnerability and kind of shyness when it came to the opposite sex. She was lovely to read.

Jakob, was a no nonsense kind of man. After being in the war and coming home to find out that his uncle died, he was looking for direction in his life. He stumbles into a world he hadn't been in for quite some time when Kate calls with a little feline problem. He goes about it with professionalism and of course his very own charm.

When these two meet the chemistry flies off the page, and the sexual tension will make you squirm. I was on the edge of my seat until that moment, when the first kiss happened. I melted like soft butter on a hot day. What these two did.. holy smokes! Who knew you could do that type of thing on a horse!!! -You have to read it to find out what the heck I am talking about- 

For a debut novel, this was a fabulous quick read. Aden did a fabulous job and I highly enjoyed it. I only wished it was a bit longer to get to know these two a bit more, and let's face it... more good loving.

Sebastian McCarthy Obsession Part 3

Ok... Let's face the facts here. No matter how much I pleaded, begged, and practically threw hissy fits and often, the object of my desire was not the main attraction in this book (Enticed by the Moon). - Yeah, I'm still bitter about it. He did in fact, make a couple of appearances throughout the book though. So HURRAY for that. With that said, there was enough testosterone to subdue me for a while in this one. Twins in fact. Yes! You are seeing correctly, TWINS! Identical twins to be exact. *snicker* Get a hold of yourselves ladies! 

In this book, you know, the one that my Sebastian doesn't star in, Ryken and Luken (the twins, if you haven't figured that out) are sent to collect Bries' best friend Tabitha Burns and bring her to Sebastian for protection. What all three don't know is that they are bound together by fate. Starting with a whopper of a love scene inside of a train cabin - pheww, talk about close quarters. 

I think this book has quite a lot of action packed scenes including a car chase for the ages. I fell apart while reading it. Thanks Morgan, I really appreciated THAT one... anywhoo... The twins and Tabitha end up where they needed to go, and FINALLY we get to see Sebastian in all his alpha male glory! *Swoon*

Miss James is an incredible story teller. Whether it be a long story, or a short one like this one. She brings new meaning to sexy story telling. Her cast of characters (especially the male variety) will always leave you breathless, make your girly parts tingle, and leave you panting for more. She delivers an absolutely terrific story each and every time. 

If you like vampire stories, and want a quick read, you should NOT pass this book up. It's currently free (at the time of this post) so you have no excuse! I highly recommend this story!

The author describes each character beautifully, and has MANY panty scorching sex scenes. The plot thickens and things get a little scary for a while, but the outcome was glorious. Everyone gets what they deserve in the end and I couldn't be happier for it. This book is not all that is seems and it's a wonderful night time read. :) The author did an amazing job capturing your attention, keeping it, and delighting you with a fantastic book.
