The delectable Zoey Derrick has done it again... She made me fall in love all over again with her delicious characters and brilliant storytelling. The story picks up where the first one ended.. and OH BOY did it ever "pick up" if you guys know what I mean *giggle - snort*. Addison is now thrust into the limelight, trying to manage the band she doesn't want to give up just quite yet, and the men that come along with said band. Meanwhile, Talon and Kyle are trying new and wild scenarios, not only with Addison, but with each other. *Phewwwww*
The story had me on pins and needles most of the time, and while I was reading it, I kept thinking: "wow, it can't get better than this!" Ummm, nope I was wrong. I can't even begin to tell you guys how many chapters I loved! Every time I would finish one I really loved, I found another couple that I loved even more! I was definitely fanning myself, A LOT! I can not express how much, I'm in love with the character that is Talon. Gahhh!
There was all in all, a sweetness to it, especially the song in the book. It left me in tears. Lots of laughter inducing moments. Yes, you will burst out in laughter at some of the dialog. Trust me, it was needed in some parts. Some discoveries that were made, definitely some worrisome trouble that leaves someone in the hospital, and of course the hot sex. Oh, and the story isn't over just yet. There's another book on it's way! Woohoo!
The book was a bit overlong for me, but looking back, I thought "Well, go big or go home!" Zoey definitely went big and I really appreciated that. I can't wait for the next installment!
