Christmas With The Reeds

Book Description: It's Christmas! The Reeds have big plans for Christmas and they hope you'll come and join them for their special day.

What can I say? Another AMAZING Reed Brothers Novel. Tammy Falkner has outdone herself AGAIN. I know, I say that a lot... but every time I pick up one of her books they outshine the last. It always gets better and better! Is that even possible? YES!

This book touched on what Christmas is truly about. It's all about giving and giving some more. The lives that these character's touch is just amazing. Their love for one another and people in need is just simply awe inspiring. This book will pull at your heartstrings, even when you think you are the worst cynic. I can't say enough about this book and the whole series itself, but that it's truly A MUST READ!  Tammy did a fantastic job with each POV, and blends it into a melting pot of Reed fabulousness! The cast that you have read and loved in the previous books are back, and quirky as ever. You will fall in love all over again. She touches on some new characters that I am sure will have the same effect, and I for one, can't wait to read about them.

Favorite Quotes:

"Dude, don't you know by now that names mean nothing? Some family you're born with and some you grow into. You've grown into ours, and we're keeping you."

"Hey!" Daniel shouts. "I don't need to hear about your nuts or what your wife does with them."

"Christmas is more than just a season. It's more than unwrapping gifts and spending time with loved ones. It's a reminder that we're all here on earth to serve a purpose, and though we might not know what that purpose is today, someday we will, and it will all become clear. So if you're feeling a little lost this Christmas, hang in there. It does get better."

"There's so much love in the air that I'm finding it almost hard to breath it all in."

"Soft kisses on my lips Clovers and rainbows Looking for Luck - no one knows I am strong.."

"I am powerful I am loved I am careful And so are you... Wherever you go You just have to know..."

"and most of all you are... here"

"Logan comes up onto the stage and wraps his arms around me. He's my home."

"The tattoo reads, "Where I go, they go."

5 HUGE stars for this AMAZING book!

Christmas With A Bite

Book Description: A paranormal category romance from Entangled's Covet imprint…

Sometimes the holidays totally bite...

This Christmas, Mara Livingston is determined to start over. But as she's driving to her "new" home, a freak winter storm forces her off the road. Now she's stranded in the middle of nowhere. Then he shows up. And there's something strangely familiar about him...

Connor Reese never expected to see Mara again. Nor is he prepared for the onslaught of emotions―including an unimaginable rush of desire―she stirs within him. Now he has a chance to claim the woman he's always wanted. Except, there are a couple of small details that Mara doesn't know. The first is that Connor is a vampire. And the second is that if his family finds out about Mara, she will most certainly be killed...

Mara Livingston is heading home after her disastrous marriage and now divorce. She had no job, no home, and no lover. She wanted to start over and home is where she thought she would start. Poor woman not only lost everything in her "world" she now faced mother nature's wrath with a freak ice storm.  Her GPS was running a muck, and she ended up someplace where she wasn't supposed to be. What was a girl to do? Can her day have gotten any worse? Of course it could!

After a horrific event in his life happened, Conner Reese decided he had had enough of the real world and stayed away from everyone and everything in his self-imposed seclusion. That is, until a certain woman comes "crashing" back into his life.

He didn't think he would ever run into Mara Livingston again. I guess fate has a great sense of humor, because Conner ends up saving Mara from disaster, and brings her back to his secluded spot to take care of her, but is determined to send her on her way as soon as possible.

A couple of days of pure torture for him and it comes time to say good bye. But for how long? According to his parents, a very long time. He is not to deal or dally with humans... EVER! But Conner being Conner, it doesn't take long for him to chase after Mara, and he heads off to find her at a club. Oh how the sparks fly! I won't finish re-capping the rest of the story as I don't want to give it away, but WOW!

Throughout the story there are twists and turns that may leave you with other questions, but in true Patricia A. Wolf fashion she delves into it, and delivers it with aplomb. This story is filled with yummy goodness of all sorts. Not only is it a Holiday story, but also heavy on the heat with a  twist of paranormal. If this was a drink, I would be completely drunk on the happy that it brought me. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quick read.

Favorite quotes:

"Love was for idiots, and Mara was the biggest idiot of all."

"He leaned against the arm of the chair ad watched her, guarding her like a treasure."

"His fingers itched to caress the softness of those strands, curl it around his fist, haul her up against him to devour her mouth."

"He wasn't meant to love again. He was meant to be left alone. Forever."

"Who knew what lust-filled thoughts might rocket out, embarrassing her and sending her crawling out into the snow to die - for real this time."

"Lame. Maybe. But a girl had to get her kicks somehow."

"She hoped Conner could handle getting his ass kicked by a girl. She couldn't wait to do her little victory dance. No one ever beat her at Monopoly. No one."

"She waved her hand at him dismissively. "Oh, whatever you big baby. Stop torturing me, and I won't have to resort to violence," she blurted out."

"Mara was not just a mortal. She was his destiny, and no matter what he had to do, he would find a way to be with her."

"I'm afraid," he admitted. "I'm afraid you'll see me as something evil and not the man who's fallen in love with you."

"She was amazed at how her sister could take something as serious as a man being a vampire and turn it into something purely sexual. The woman clearly needed sex bad."

"The need built, consuming her. Flames licking over her skin as wild sensations passed down upon her. Her legs wrapped around him and as the music reached it's crescendo, he shoved his cock inside of her, joining their bodies as their hearts had already done."

5 stars for this fun filled holiday treat

Book Description: Darrell's has a new game plan... he refuses to be the icing on her man cake.

Dara convinces Zoe to go straight.... and it doesn't go as planned.

Book Description: Darrell plays hard to get and Zoe falls into a web of sexual retribution...

FromNEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling author,Marata Eros

Dara convinces Zoe to go straight.... but when a ghost from the past shows up, it presents an irresistible circumstance.

This will be another 3 part review because these stories are kind of short and well, there is no point in doing them individually. :) I'm kind of lazy that way. So, here we are books 5, 6 and 7.. Oh boy... We pick up where book 4 left off, and if by chance you have not read them (giving you the stink eye right now) you won't know what the heck I am talking about, so make sure to read them.

In book 5 Zoe plots again with Dara to get Darell back for what happened in book 4 (Trying not to spoil it for you here, people!) While plotting she has been ignoring Darell and he is one frustrated man. He works himself out and is too tired to do much, that is until Zoe arrives with some unexpected guests. What happens will leave your jaw on the floor, and your panties wet! BUT Marata surprised the hell out of me and changed things up at the end. I wasn't shocked, but there is a major twist. *GASP*

In book 6 Darrell tries really hard to avoid Zoe, and poor Zoe is miserable. She kind of screwed up in book 5 and now has to face the consequences. Little does she know that Dara is trying to help her by calling Darell back into the scene, but it doesn't turn out too well. Again, Marata throws us a curve ball! My heart went out to these two.

In book 7 Zoe confronts Darell by showing up at his apartment spitting mad. Of course Darell calls in reinforcements in the form of an old acquaintance, that if you guys read the Dara Nichols series will be familiar with. I won't spoil it by saying who it is, but man... I didn't know HE was going to show back up in this series. Book seven leaves you with the question "are they or are they not?"

The quick reads are spectacular and I for one am really happy that Marata wrote them. They have a big impact for such a small book in the erotic department, and you will not be disappointed. Superbly written, these books are not to be missed!

The Last of the Sons

Book Description: *The heart-pounding finale to the USA TODAY Bestselling Gypsy Brothers series*

Will Julz complete her mission for vengeance against the Gypsy Brothers? Or is Dornan still one step ahead?

More shocking secrets will come to light and lives will be lost in this final, devastating installment of the Gypsy Brothers series.

So many questions, so many answers.... I loved this series from the get go. It was gritty, it was dark, kind of ruthless, and no holds barred. It was amazing to see how it all came to be and end in such a way that made you sigh in relief.

Lili took us from the broken girl in the first book to an amazing woman who didn't give up. She has brought us full circle, per se.  She brought us laughter and sadness, and down right rage. Julez finally got her ending, whether or not she was relieved, I am not so certain... There were a lot of plot twists and turns, but it all made a weird kind of sense. It was action packed and I loved every second of it. There were a scene or two that made me cringe and honestly, made me make an "Ew" face, but it involved Dornan. If you have read the previous books you would understand why I made that face, so that's not a surprise.

I was really glad that you got to see Dornan with a bit of "humanity" at the end and not the pure evil maniac that we are so accustomed to. It was quite touching, again, in a weird and twisted kind of way. I know Lili got some flack for finishing the book off the way she did, but personally I think she did a brilliant job with it. I didn't see them riding off into the sunset with a happily ever after, but I am glad she will be bringing something else entirely to the table. The one person I did find that I didn't have any clue as to what happened to him was Elliot. Lots of unanswered questions there, even though she briefly made a point to mention him and his car at the end. But I am sure there is a method to the madness.

I'm really sad to see this series end, but I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us with her upcoming Cartel series. The Gypsy Brothers series is one that you should not miss out on, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Favorite Quotes:

"I have to remain impassive though, so I tamp down the gloating grin that wants to spread across my face and settle for resting bitch face instead."

"Daughter, granddaughter," he shrugs, waving his hand in a noncommittal gesture. "It's all the same, really. She came from Dornan. She belonged to him. And you lost her, you pathetic, fucking junkie."

"I tilt my head, raising my eyebrows at her. "I assure you, I'm not the monster in this fucked-up fairytale. But whatever helps you sleep at night."

"Donny's a little busy right now," I murmur, in the bitchiest voice I can summon. "But I can talk."

"I was fifteen," I respond, my voice only wavering a little. "There were seven of them. Dornan Ross and his sons. It was payback for my father falling in love with the wrong woman."

"So tell me," Pepito says. "What do you think is a fitting punishment for a dirty fucker who rapes kids?" I can't help it ; I smile. "I can think of a few things."

"I don't want to die," I say quietly. "But if it's me or those girls, I'll die without another thought. Elliot's already given up everything for me. Everything. His whole life, Jase. I can't let a little girl and her mother die because I lived."

"Julz," he murmured against my skin, still moving in slow stroked. "When this is over, I'm going to marry you. We're going to have lots of babies, and I'm buying you a fucking minivan. Okay?" I laugh, even though I'm crying. "Okay?" Jase repeats. "Okay." I reply, pulling him deeper, pulling him down to meet my mouth again."

"It's not pretty, and it's not nice, but that's okay. Because, in our world, it takes the taste of death in your mouth, bloody and warm, to truly understand what it means to be alive."

"Dornan Ross is dead. But I don't feel relieved, or happy. I feel ... nothing."

"But I was wrong. This fight? It's only just begun. But right now, I don't care. Everything I have done, every life I have taken, every drop of blood I have spilled. It was all for this moment right here. We are broken, the two of us. He builds me back up, piece by piece. I will never be whole again. But I am okay.  am happy. I am loved."

*** Recommended for adult readers only due to adult situations, sexual content, and adult language.

Sam's story!!!! Since day one I have loved the Reed brothers, the women who came into their lives and the stories in between. Tammy Falkner has done it again with this book. She made me fall in love all over again. I say that A LOT, but it's oh so true!

Sam wants what his brother's have. He is a successful ball player, but he wants more than just that. He wants his soul mate. He thinks that he has found her in Peck. The problem is that Peck is insecure about herself and feels like she isn't good enough for Sam. Sam has been in love with Peck for a long time. He has kept his feelings to himself for the simple fear of being hurt, but it doesn't seem to stop him from trying to get the girl.

Peck is the drummer of an all girl band. She has a stuttering problem and the only way to keep it at bay is to tap every time she talks. She had a really bad childhood until she was adopted along with 4 other girls, all at the same time. Her life turned around after some TLC from her new adoptive parents, but it wasn't easy for her. She still had some battles to face; some outwardly and some within herself. With some help, and a lot of love and patience from Sam, she realizes she is more than she thinks she is.

Sam is a total charmer in this book, and I appreciated that he was willing to wait out Peck until she was ready to receive love and to love in return. When they finally got together it was nothing less than explosive. This book, like the others, made my heart happy. It was such a pleasure to read, and of course reconnecting with past couples. I was saddened to think that this was the end of the line for these spectacular books, but at the very end of the book the author threw in a little surprise. Hurray! I can't wait for what Mrs. Falkner has in store for us next. I am sure it will be nothing short of brilliant!

Favorite quotes:

"The Reeds take people in like they're family. Anyone. The only requirement is that you have a pulse. And if you don't have a heart, they'll give you theirs."

"He squeeze my hand. "I'm pretty sure I'm in love with you, cupcake," he says. "I just wish you could love me back."

"She's going to marry me one day. She just doesn't know it yet."

"I want to touch you and see you and feel you and taste you and smell you. And when you make those little noises that come out so much easier than your words do, I want them to be right beside my ear."

"Him," Fin calls. "Do him. Then let him do you. Wash. Rinse. Repeat."

"I don't know," he hedges. "You just wore your heart on your sleeve. You love, and you love well and true. That's one of your strengths."

"No, it's perfect," he corrects me. "Your heart is in your throat and your head starts to swim and you suddenly can't talk, all because your heart is too full. That's when the emotions slap you in the face and you don't care."

"God, I can't breath when I'm around you, Peck. I can't think. I love you, and I don't want to be apart from you. Ever."

"I fell like there was a dry tinder in my heart, just waiting for a flame. And suddenly, I've been ignited."

"That little girl has more compassion in her little finger than most people have in their whole body. I envy the fact that she can take so little and turn into so much."

"She goes after what she wants, I wish everyone had her strength and the ability to persevere. My only wish for her is that she holds on to that fighting spirit, for it will take her far."

"Peck is all grown up. She's strong, faithful, and most of all, she is loved. My job is done. I will go home tonight and hug my own son a little harder. And I will pray that is he ever finds himself alone, that someone will step up to hep him. Peck, when she finally settles down and marries, will need someone as strong-willed as she is, but someone who has a gentle side. She needs someone who will cherish the words that still stick on her tongue, and someone who will be okay with it if she just sits quietly. He will have to be a special man, but I doubt any of it will come easily. She will have to fight for the right one. I just hope she's capable. I hope she doesn't let her fear or doubt overwhelm her. I hope she goes for it. Because I know she can."

Left Me Speechless!

Book Description: Sixth-form student Christina is indulging in a harmless flirtation with Josh McClain, chef at the restaurant where she works evenings. But when Josh’s uncle Gavin meets her hot teacher Amanda, a wicked bet is made - which of the two women will be seduced first? The race is on – but even Josh has no idea how far the ride will take them all. Gavin’s devious twist to the situation will take them all to an evening of insane eroticism, where anything might – and will – happen. Taboos are about to be broken and major lessons learnt - in the art of unchained lust. Brace yourself for the most outrageous Gavin McClain story to date and be swept up in a torrent of extreme debauchery. These girls are going to get schooled.

OH MY GOD!!! This book has utterly left me speechless! Ok, not true... but holy smokes...

I am going to start by saying that I am NOT a Gavin McClain fan. I never was, that is, until the book Twenty One (found here) came along. Now, with that said, I thought that maybe, perhaps he was going to charm my pants off in this book as well... Oh how wrong I was!

I have to say that this was a really hard read for me. Every time I started to read it, I had to put my kindle down before I stomped on it and broke it into a thousand little pieces. It made it worse because Josh - Gavin's nephew - is just like him or will be soon enough. I did not care for these two AT ALL! Now, please don't get me wrong. This is solely MY view on Gavin and his jerk nephew. So, you might ask, is there anything in this book that you liked? Of course there is! I will get to that in a minute.

Amanda aka Mandy is the feisty teacher that had a bit of a wild child past. She had Gavin pegged from the get go, but she went along with his shenanigans and had a REALLY good evening. Christina, the student, is the kind of girl that I would love to slap and tell her to get a grip! She was quite the follower and had herself a food feasting great night with Josh.  Because of these two great nights, and let's face it, Gavin and Josh are complete arrogant pricks, Gavin and Josh devise a plan to get ANOTHER one by devious means.

What happens next is a full fledged, erotic to the extreme, hell hath no fury sex-a-thon! HOLY CRAP!! By the end of the book, my mouth was agape, I couldn't think a single coherent thought and I don't think I could walk straight!

So aside from disliking the two main characters, which btw didn't take away in any way, shape of form my enjoyment of the book,  I found the book absolutely BRILLIANT! From the get go, the author entices you with wicked delights and you can't help but to be entranced by the debauchery that is going on. Girls, I am warning you now... your girly bits are going to be throbbing by the end of this book.

Jake did a fantastic job in pushing the envelope and I for one, am grateful for it. It was entertaining with its quick wit, and much needed humor in certain parts. He delivered an amazing story from start to finish. As far as the characters of Gavin and Josh - I think it takes an extraordinarily brilliant artist to evoke such strong feelings from their reader. Whether it be love or hate, Jake has that talent.

Favorite quote: You're like me - you play by the rules right up to the moment they get in the way of your enjoyment. Then you fuck the rules and take your pleasure, and you do it to the fullest. "Men like us..." He leaned forward, voice dropping low, and Josh inclined his whole body in response. "... We're blessed with attributes most men spend their lives dreaming of and if we don't make the most of them... well what a fucking waste that is. Look at you. You're good-looking and you're charming. You're talented and you're sharp. You can cook, for Christ's sake. And you have a healthy lack of modesty about it all. The last one counts. It means that while some guy you sat next to in school is stewing in a mind-numbing desk job, you're one step away from owning your own restaurant. It means that while he's still fretting over how to ask the pretty girl out, you're fucking her right up her tight virgin ass. "Men like us..." he repeated. "We don't let opportunity pass us by. We seize it. And if it's not there, we make it. Then we suck the juice out of the sweetest experiences life has to offer."

Casual Collisons

Casual Collisions: a collection of four deliciously erotic stories to tease, arouse and satisfy a discerning reader. Be advised that all the stories contain strong scenes of a varied sexual nature. Please do not purchase if easily offended.

Long Division: FMM
Naomi Walters is a prim, no nonsense, authoritarian head teacher. Though professionally successful, her private life is a shambles. Flying to attend her niece’s wedding, her transatlantic flight is delayed and a chance meeting in the departure lounge with a pair of athletic travellers leads to an explosive, life changing encounter that will be indelibly burned into her psyche. 21677 words.

Surf’s Up: FF
Sunbathing on the beach and reading a steamy romance, Lyndsey Morgan’s attention is diverted by the arrival of a nubile young woman. Drawn inexplicably to the nymph, her fantasies unfurl and the acquisition of a tan is the last thing on her mind as she begins to question her own nature. 4826 words.

First Impressions: FF
Saundra Fletcher is a bitter, frustrated executive. Trapped and haunted by her past, she dreads her future and copes by railing impotently at an indifferent uncaring world. A chance meeting with a mysterious woman on her commute home changes her outlook and offers the prospect of fulfilment. 7028 words.

Irrecusable: FFFM
Kate Parkinson is a young accounts clerk who hates parties. Cajoled by her friend into attending her employer’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, she meets the charismatic sensual whirlwind that is Séverine Rogers. Subjected to her irresistible allure, Kate finds herself the willing participant in an unexpected party of her own. This story was previously published in Gratis Mid-winter Tales. 10162 words.

This is the first book that I have read from this particular author. Let's just say I picked the right book to read! These are short stories in one glorious erotic book. The stories are all different from each other, and there is a little something for everyone depending on whatever your mood is at the time.

The first tale tells the story of a teacher and two men who start out stranded at an airport. Their flight is delayed several times until it's cancelled all together. What happens next is a man's wet dream. Starts with a B ends with a WOW!

The second story, I think, was the shortest for me, and I wished it was just a bit longer. But nevertheless it was well written and the heat factor was still there. Lyndsey starts out at the beach for some relaxation, until someone abruptly comes and teaches her a new meaning of the word.

The third story  was pretty emotional. It was about a woman who has lost someone and is still in her prime. She meets Gillian at the train station while on-route to the grave yard to visit the love that was lost, they chat for a while, exchange numbers and they go on about their day. Later that night she gets a text and they chat some more. What they chat about is something that you have to read to believe. :)

The fourth story was my favorite. Severine is a hot ticket, and what happens at the party will melt your panties right off! You better believe it! This story alone was worth the cost of the book!

I highly enjoyed these short stories and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quick late night read. The author did a fabulous job and I am very much looking forward to reading more.

4 stars for these delicious tales.

Blackmailing Neighbor

Book Description: When Craig comes home from work one night while his wife is away with work he is surprised to find a note asking him to visit his neighbour Jack. He soon finds out that Jack has information his wife may like to know and the blackmailing of Craig begins. Jack doesn't want money though. He wants Craig.

Warning: This is a M/M short story

There is nothing romantic about this short story. It is just plain ol' raunchy fun. Craig gets a little note from the neighbor telling him that he needs to see him. When he gets next door, the neighbor tells him that he knows Craig's little secret and that if Craig wanted him to keep his mouth shut Craig needed to do something for him. Of course Craig doesn't want to get into trouble with his wife so he agrees. To Craig's surprise, he liked what he has to do. What he doesn't realize is that NOW the neighbor has the goods on him and he has to return again. The second time around he is faced with more than just the neighbor. The author threw in some comedic lines that made me giggle. I am not sure if he meant to or not, but it made me giggle nevertheless. It was a great debut short story from the author.

Flash Burn

Book Description: James Knight POV

“…I read the last lines of the letter and the words are just ringing in my ears… I have pleased you, Master. Only now do I notice that I'm practically panting, my breaths coming in short shallow huffs, and my dick is throbbing in my slacks. I'm almost afraid to move a muscle, because I just fucking might come in my pants… What the fuck was that? Get your fucking shit together, Knight, you're acting like some horny teenager and not the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company.

I close my eyes and pinch the bridge of my nose, my left hand sliding under the table and rubbing the hard throbbing bulge in my pants, adjusting it.”

Eva Roberts POV

“Stop listening to your needy body, Eva! My mind is always here to wake me up.

I deliberately minimize the Gmail screen and focus on um…my work emails. Is my breathing shallow? Argh! I place my hands on the edge of the desk and push off. The chair I’m sitting on slides backwards on its wheels and I swivel around, stopping right next to the window, looking outside. I need sex. I really do. I’ve had a very dry year and this is the closest I've gotten to fucking. Okay, getting wet. But good wet. Scary wet. Should I email him back? Am I that gutsy? No. I know I’m not.”

Having sent a controversial email by error to someone else, James Knight receives a reply from that email address in the same erotic language.

What follows is sexting like you've never read before and as you read on, all you want to know is, will their virtual relationship become a real one?

I picked up this series with a recommendation from a friend. James Knight is a bored CEO/ DOM who decides to write an e-mail to his wayward sub. Unfortunately, or fortunately for him he sends it to the wrong person. This person sends him a reply to his amazement, and it starts a very heated exchange. When I say "heated" I mean holy HOT. I think for me, it was one of the best parts of these books. When James decides that e-mail isn't enough for him he takes the steps to meet the author of the replies. Eva Roberts is rather the introvert in real life until she gets this mysterious and rather sex filled e-mail. It brings out her inhibitions and she does some outrageous things she otherwise wouldn't do.

The books flow very well from one to the next, with the little "blips" that go along the way. For example, the creepy neighbor, a gorgeous guy she bumps into (Ahem, a surprise to Eva) and the ex-sub. No worries guys, this ends in a HEA. These two characters light up the screen, Kindle, Nook or computer - whichever you choose - with their banter, not to mention when they finally get together. Their meeting is explosive and their time together is filled with heat and erotic sensuality. This was a great fast, fun read.

Captured My Heart!

Book Description: Love is never easy. It's especially difficult when you love a Marine. I knew the risk when I said "I do", but I chose to love anyway.

In a flash, he was taken from me, and now I'm alone. Struggling and desperate. There's no hope, no future. Just the endless cycle of day-to-day survival. But a letter returned could change all of that.

Hope and love often come from the last place you'd think to look, when you least expect it.

*   *   *

I was a lost, broken soul, tortured by the memories of what I'd endured. When I visited that old farmhouse in rural Texas, all I wanted to do was return the letter. Keep a promise to a friend.

What I got was healing. Understanding. The chance to find a measure of peace when all I've ever known is war.

We both lost everything. But in each other, we found something worth fighting for.

***This is a full length, stand-alone contemporary romance, set in the world of WOUNDED**

I didn't read this book when it first came out because I knew, I KNEW, it was going to break my heart. Jasinda has a knack of doing that to me with her brilliance when writing these marvelous stories. This was no exception.

Derek is wounded, a Marine, a POW fighting his way back into the world. His tale is not one of pink ponies, and beautiful rainbows. It's ugly, dirty, violent, and dark. Reading what he went through made me cringe at times. He made a promise to his best friend and he was damned determined to keep it.

Reagan is a beautiful widow of a Marine. She is left alone to take care of her home, her child, and herself. When she thinks she is unable to keep up Derek shows up and turns her world upside down.

Their story is absolutely sensational! They each battle their own demons, but when these two are together, it's just radiant.... it's magic! Anything is possible with a little faith, and lots of love. There is such a thing as second chances and it can be beautiful, and just as precious.

There are a lot of serious scenes in this book, but there is a mix of humor which I really appreciated. There is a barbecue scene in the book that truly had me crying from laughing so hard. It's amazing how the authors can set just a touch humor to break up the devastation, and heartache and make everything flow with ease and grace.

I can't say enough about this book, and this review does not do it justice. If you are a fan of Jasinda and Jack Wilder and have not read this book, you are truly missing out. If you have never read any of their stories, please pick up this book. You will not regret it. If you are already a fan, you know that this book is amazing!

Book Description: Darrell brings more than his hose to a surprise interlude that is not of Zoe's choosing....

FromNEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling author,Marata Eros

Darrell brings an ultimatum to the sexual table and Zoe balks. She wants a relationship, but on her terms. When Zoe visits Dara to chat about Darrell's agenda, she finds Dara busy with the vikings. Zoe has no choice but to play with Dara's guests.

When Darrell discovers Zoe has strayed, his surprise might be more than she can handle.

Or will Darrell's efforts be enough to satisfy her?

I am doing these two reviews in one because these books are rather short, and because I am really greedy when it comes to Marata Eros and her books. These beauties are wickedly delicious in their own right, but god almighty... They made me squirm in my seat. Marata warned me ahead of time about the heat level in these books, yeah... I should of listened to her! In book 3 Zoe gets a little surprise at a restaurant when her friend Dara and her lover Darell wrangle up some fun, what Darell wasn't quite expecting was that Dara and Zoe turn the tables on him. - OH MY GOD!!!

In book 4 Darell let's Zoe know that he wants more than being "fuck buddies" which in turn freaks Zoe out. She goes to Dara for help, but Dara is a little busy with the Vikings. Needless to say she joins in the fun, but when Darell shows up all hell kind of breaks lose, but not in the way you think. Zoe gets more than she bargained for, or did she??

I am so in love with these books. You see Dara's growth as she becomes a more dominant woman. Zoe in more of a submissive role, and Darell... Poor Darell, I feel bad for him in some ways. Not too terribly, of course, because he does get to enjoy himself, but still. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment of this all too fabulous series. Can't wait!

5 Stars for these incredible short stories.
